Not Sure What's After High School?

Dream Camp provides clarity and helps you build a complete post-high school plan so you can confidently make decisions and step into the life you truly want to live.

Can Your Teen Relate?

  • They feel as though their future path isn't very clear
  • They're always busy but aren't sure what they are working toward
  • They haven't chosen a college, a major or a career...OR..they aren't sure college is right for them...at least right after high school
  • They feel like what's expected of them doesn't match what they want
  • They feel alone and believe they're the only one feeling this way
  • They don't ask for help because they don't know what to ask for

If you said, "yes" to even one of these, Dream Camp is the solution!

Dream Camp is designed to enhance the academics taught in school and support the values taught at home

"Our high school had good resources but we were still having trouble helping our daughter connect the dots between school, her talents and what she wanted in life. We were all stressed out and arguing all the time.

Dream Camp made the difference and really helped Sophie understand what she was looking for. Best of all, we were able to work together to create a plan that actually worked."

-Patti S, mom

"I felt like I was on a hamster wheel. I had so much going on–school, sports, my friends–and I was always busy just trying to keep up. I had no idea what it was all leading to. Karin and Dream Camp helped me understand myself and what I'm good at. I finally feel confident and excited. I am now creating a solid foundation for my future."

Olivia S, HS Student

"College feels like something that is expected of me but I wasn't sure I wanted to go. Dream Camp helped me clarify my career interests, what I need from a school and how it fits with who I am. I'm still not totally sure what I want to do for a living but I finally have a plan that will help me decide and I feel confident in taking the next steps."

Why Dream Camp?

The cost for a four-year public college averages over $28,000 per year. That’s over $110,000 for four years. It doesn’t take into account that costs are rising over 6% a year on average. And most kids take longer to graduate. In fact, just 19% graduate in four years, especially if they change majors. It’s estimated that the cost of each additional year of college costs an average of more than $68,000 in additional tuition, fees, living expenses and forgone income.

Doesn't it make sense for your teen to feel more certain about who they are, what they want from life and to have a solid plan to follow before entering into such a costly education system?

An investment in Dream Camp gives your teen an advantage in life by arming them with the answers they need about who they are and what they want so they can confidently step into life after high school with confidence and direction, prepared to take responsibility for their future.

FAQ

Who is this program for? This program is intended for teens aged 14-19 who are ready and interested in preparing for life after high school. Kids who have the potential to be high achievers but need help with a step-by-step plan do very well with the materials. It’s also perfect for high achievers who are at risk of burnout and need help with creating balance in their lives. Teens who are not ready to think about what they want after high school or are not committed to exploring options and opportunities may not do as well in this program. It's important to note that while the course is intended for teens 14-19, readiness must be determined by the parents and teens. There are 13 year olds who are very ready while others who are 18 may not yet be ready for this type of personal development.

What kind of tools and resources are included? This course is hands-on. Worksheets, quizzes, assessments, planning pages and journaling blocks are some of the tools that will be used in your personal exploration. There will also be recommendations for additional resources, such as reading lists and suggested apps so that your teen will come away with a complete interactive reference tool that they can use and refer back to on an ongoing basis.

How much time does it take? Modules are released weekly. The 6 modules are broken down into a total of 18 bite-sized “lessons". Each of these will take about 30 minutes to an hour to work through. We suggest about 60 minutes per week over the course of Dream Camp. Because everyone is different, it’s important to note that some people will need longer and some shorter amounts of time. The good news is that you’ll be working at your pace, around your own schedule. Even after all 6 modules have been released to you, your access to Dream Camp won’t end. You’ll be able to complete the full course at your convenience and return to any of the information for review whenever you want for a full year.

What else do I need to complete the course? Everything is included in the price of Dream Camp. It is a virtual course.. You'll need a computer with an internet connection to complete the materials.

Aren’t teens too young for life planning? First, it's never too soon for personal development! And Dream Camp is not intended to help teens develop a plan for the entire length of their lives. It will, however, help them zero in on who they are and the big picture of what they want from life overall. They will create a plan for their early adulthood that will set them up for success. It will help them create a blueprint that leads to a whole, balanced life. Dream Camp will also help teens make confident decisions that allow them to accomplish the things that are important to them while retaining enough flexibility to take advantage of unexpected opportunities that arise. Best of all, they’ll come out of Dream Camp knowing how and when to adjust their goals and plans as they grow as people.

Can adults take this workshop? This particular workshop is designed for teens as it includes information pertaining to life situations unique to 14-19 year olds. However, I do offer coaching for adults. Please visit this page for the details or feel free to contact us for details.

I have 2 kids. Can they share the login? Each teen needs to enroll individually. That’s because within Dream Camp there are assessments, quizzes and exercises that can’t be shared or utilized by more than one person at a time. Additionally, all content and materials are proprietary and copyrighted. Sharing or distribution to others is not permitted.

If you have other questions, please feel free to contact us. We always look forward to talking with you, no strings attached!
